New Income Tax Rules – Submission of false Aadhaar number may be fined Rs. 10,000

As it is well known that the income tax department has allowed Aadhaar card holders to use the biometric id number in lieu of the Permanent Account Number (PAN). But as per new provision of Income Tax, fine of Rs. 10,000 may be levied in case of wrong Aadhar Number. As per the latest amendments in the Finance Bill 2019, not only allowed people to use Aadhaar in lieu of PAN but also introduced a penalty for giving a false Aadhaar number. However, the new penalty rules are applicable only in cases where you are using Aadhaar in lieu of PAN and where quoting PAN is mandatory according to the income tax department rules. It is well known that although Aadhaar is issued by the Unique Identity Authority of India, yet the fine is not imposed by UIDAI but by the income tax department. Why Facebook is Blue in Color?


When you open Facebook, the first thing that you notice is the blue color it uses. Ever wondered why is Facebook so blue in color and not changing its color scheme?
Ever since they started as 'thefacebook', Facebook has stayed with the blue color. Although major changes have been made in the Facebook theme since then, the major unchanged thing has been the blue color.

An exciting fact: In its earlier days, thefacebook.com required you to have an  .edu email id to join.
Everywhere from its login page to Facebook groups, you find only blue.
The reason for this is that  Mark Zuckerberg, the young founder of Facebook is red-green color-blind and blue is the richest colour for him which he confirmed in an online interview with Leo Laporte.

Another important commercial factor for using blue color is the fact that most colors tend to distract the viewers. Blue on the other hand acts as a transparent background to the main content as visible to the human brain due to which most popular websites tend to use the blue color. It can easily be called a webmaster's favorite color. Blue color is also sometimes referred to as 'Nirvana' for the brain.


All these factors make blue a prominent color on Facebook.

JCA, WB letter to Rev Sec seeking intervention against discrimination regarding allocation of posts

After the recommendation of Core Committee for allocation of posts, JCA West Bengal sent a letter to Revenue Secretary seeking intervention against discrimination made with West Bengal charge. With regard to WB region it is pertinent to mention here that Core Committee in its report reduced the number of posts of Principal CIT, Addl CIT, ACIT/DCIT and ITO from the recommendation of Sub-committee no.-1. Now it is very clear from the AICPIN issued today that DA will be 100% w.e.f. January 2014. Decline in AICPIN for December, 2013 vanished the expectation for crossing the DA from 100%.
